We are currently seeking to add a certified RV Technician and an RV Technician Trainee to our team. FULL TIME POSITION

$40,000-$55,000 Per Year DOE

This position has an HOURLY wage. Not a high-pressure, dealership-style environment where you only get paid depending on how fast you turn out work. We want you to be able to enjoy your work with us.

Job Requirements:

  • Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record to Meet Insurance Requirements

  • Ability to Speak, Read, Write, and Comprehend English

  • Minimum 1 Year Experience Servicing RVs

  • Ability to Complete Basic Diagnostics, Troubleshoot Service Issues including Low Voltage Systems, and Make Recommendations

  • Ability to Perform Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, and Appliance Maintenance

  • Ability to Identify and Operate Basic Handle Tools and Equipment

  • Excellent Verbal and Written Customer Service and Communication Skills

  • Ability to Understand, Communicate, and Interpret Company Policies and Training Procedures

  • Track All Parts and Materials Used in Repairs and Replacements

  • Keep Supervisor Appraised of Work Progress

  • Ensure That the Final Work Product Meets Quality Standards and Is Inspected by Supervisor or Designee

  • Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Area for Customers and Coworkers

  • Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills

  • Comply with Shop Safety Rules

Preferred Skills:

  • RV Service Experience

  • RVIA Certified

  • Certification from College or Technical School in Trade Field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is Helpful but Will Consider Applicable Work Experience

Work Environment:

  • Ability to Lift Up to 50 LBS

  • Ability to Repeatedly Bend, Stoop, Reach, Climb Stairs, Push and Pull

  • Ability to work in Changing Climates and Work Outside for Extended Periods of Time

  • Must Be Able to Stand/Walk for Extended Periods of Time

  • Potential Exposure to Heights and Hazards Related to Working with Electrical and Welding Equipment

PARTS & SERVICE ASSISTANT

The Parts & Service Assistant supplies parts to consignment and non-consignment customers. Controlling inventory, and monitoring paperwork to SSTL standards. Meeting customer parts needs while maintaining sufficient profit margins and a professional images for Mid Florida RV.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold good organizational skills and interpersonal skills.

  • Presents information effectively and persuasively across communication settings.

  • Parts sales and service knowledge with mechanical aptitude preferred.

  • Ability to develop and maintain strong rapport with clents.

  • Capable negotiator. Clearly communicates goals, interests, and positions during discussions.

  • Brings energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude to the job.

  • Able to work efficiently with minimal guidance or supervision.

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Control Parts Inventory.

  • Monitor Back Order Parts.

  • Maintain an updated list on Customer Fleet.

  • Successfully manages parts sales process to achieve performance goals.

  • Maintain customer visits and parts maintenance scheduled.

  • Confer with customers as required for problem/solution resolution and proper supervision of equipment repair and maintenance.

  • Continuously monitor department goals, objectives and policies to assure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

  • Maintain positive communications with service staff and company managers.

  • Develop strong product line knowledge to actively assist customers in making informed equipment maintenance and parts/service decisions.

  • Monitor and encourage superior customer communications skills for all department personnel.

  • Accept new duties and responsibilities when they are assigned.

Experience:

  • Parts and Industrial Service knowledge preferred 2-3 years.

  • Clean Driving Record.

  • Previous Customer Interaction required.

RV DETAILER/CLEANER

Detailer Job Description & Qualifications:

  • Ability to clean ll interior and exterior surfaces of an RV including steam cleaning carpets, dusting, cleaning windows, kitchens and bathrooms.

  • Ability to run a shampooer is preferred but not required.

  • Able to work with all chemical related to cleaning such as disinfectant, all-purpose cleaner, floor cleaner, etc.

Preferred Skills:

  • Detailing: 1 year (preferred)

  • Automotive Detail: 1 year (preferred)

Work Environment:

  • Able to work in confined spaces

  • Able to repeatedly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, climb stairs, push and pull

  • Able to lift at least 20 lbs

  • Able to climb ladder and work in high places when needed

  • Ability to take directions and follow company policies and procedures

  • Ability to work in changing climates and work outside for period of time

  • Exposure to environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
